2 months old already.

Jacoby is now a 2 month old my oh my how time is flying with two little ones. Jacoby's eyes are continuing to stay blue and even getting lighter as he is getting older. He is still up every few hours through the night. He is a generally happy baby doesn't really cry much. He smiles and coos at us. He is constantly moving his arms and legs ready to go. He now weighs 13lbs 10 oz and is measuring 24 inches long. He has grown a whole 2 inches since his 5 weeks check-up.

Adjusting to Life as a family of 4.,

Since Jacoby has arrived we have learned that we may be the late ones to arrive somewhere. We will begin to get ready and after packing, feeding, getting kids dressed, and our selves we are already late to leave. We have learned that our 3 1/2 year old son has had quite a growth spurt. We have learned that sleep is something that we will get little of, caffeine however is something that is not in short supply. Our car is way too small to pack kids and their stuff. But we have also learned that our hearts could contain so much love. Our boys bring smiles even on the worst days and we feel very blessed to be able to hold 2 healthy-happy-busy little boys in our arms.

We were incorporating music, still in search for music notes and maybe a corkboard for the walls.

My favorite thing in the room besides the paint is this dresser. I fell in love with it when I found it on Craigslist. Can you believe I only paid $60 for it and it is solid wood!! Very vintage too the lady selling it said it was her mother's when she was growing up.

We still have a little more to do to it, but I wanted to get some pics up showing everyone.

Summer

Thought I would post a few pictures from this summer so far....

Where to begin??

I have been off of my blog writing game this past year. Dylan has started school, he just turned 3, went to his first circus and I am now 6 months pregnant with little boy number 2. I guess I will begin with Dylan turning 3....after his check-up we had confirmation he had in fact grown another inch or 2. His stats were 40 inches tall and 38.5 lbs. Baby brother who we have decided to name Jacoby Jaxson was measuring 1lb 15 oz on our last ultrasound. I have been busy gathering Dylan's old things and some new ones for him and his room. I hopefully will be able to post some pictures of it soon. I fell in love with craigslist since I ended up finding the perfect dresser for his room for a steal. I am also trying to redo Dylan's room since it is still the "baby" theme and he wants sports. Looks like Daddy and I have our hands full getting 2 rooms fixed before Holidays.
