Happy birthday to me.....

Sake to me

This year my birthday fell on a Saturday so we had the whole day to celebrate. My day started out at 1am with Dylan he woke up and we fell asleep on the floor. Then at 2am I woke up so uncomfortable, but not wanting to move him so that I may sleep a little while longer. At 3am woke up got hit in the face by Dylan sleep playing. At 4 I got up and got in bed my whole left side was numb from sleep on the floor at 5 he was up wanting a bottle and at 6 he was up for good. So Dylan and I stayed up playing in his room till 8. He finally went down for his nap.....8:30 Daddy got up with him. Mommy slept a little longer. Let me just say that Dylan rarely is like this at night he sleeps through the night for the most part. Once I got up and ready I packed Dylan's overnight bag ( he was going to stay the night with Granny), then Pete dropped me off at Murphy's Retreat for my present from him a Cinful Spice body scrub. It was fabulous! After he picked me up we went to drop off Dylan and then get ready for the night. We went with a few friends to a restaurant called Red it is a sushi-hibachi grill. Afterwards since it was on the boardwalk at Kemah we went to Cadillac bar and grill and had some drinks. I had so much fun!

Crawfish and a flood

The rain outside

We have been planning to do crawfish for a month now, so when it started getting close to the date we started checking weather. It kept changing 20% rain, 50% rain, 70% rain. We sent out another email to everyone asking if it was raining would they still come. The response was yes from pretty much everyone. Well, we were not expecting a tropical storm like down pour. We ended up flooded at the house but, yet the party still went on.

Check out my new hair

Dylan got his first haircut yesterday. Oh, boo my baby looks like a big boy now with a new hair style and lots of teeth. Our friend Roxanne did the honors of cutting it and she did such a great job too! Thanks for being patient Roxanne! Dylan was a little antsy.

Easter

Hum...what else

Fake smile!

Yep, Daddy gave him the blue egg.

We had Easter at our house this year since it wasn't a big holiday we wanted to just stay home. My Father and Step Mother came, Pete's Mom, Felicia, and Uncle Steve and Uncle Troy came as well. We feel like it was perfect this year since Dylan is still little and does not understand Easter yet. We did give him a basket and the Grandparents gave clothes. Dylan is wearing the outfit my Dad got in the pictures actually. Next year we are ready for some Easter Egg Hunting. Oh yeah, and we did dye eggs on Friday night with Trudy, Felicia, Dee Jae, and Sammo. It's tradition!

9 months and growing

Time to move the mattress down!

After throwing one of his fits!

See my new teeth
Dylan's 9 month stats are 23 lbs 3 oz and 29 1/4 inches long. Yep he is a big growing boy! He also has gotten in his 4th tooth and has a small virus. He is getting better though. Our little baby is growing up so fast sometimes it's hard to keep up. He is cruising the couch and pulling up on everything so that means lots of bumps, bruises, and tears. He is wanting to let go already, so maybe he will be trying to take some steps soon. He knows how to throw a temper when he doesn't get what he wants.

Astros opening day

Pete and I decided to join our friends at the Astros home opener game. It was an all day thing the street festival started at 11 and the game didn't start until 6pm. We both had time off and a wonderful babysitter(Felicia) Thank you! so we decided to take off work and have a little fun. The Astros lost 4 to 2, but we have another game tonight!
