The day after..

Dylan got his first bad bump yesterday. We were so sad and a little scared that he might have needed stiches if the bleeding did not stop. He was playing around with his Aunt Alyssa getting excited and diving back and forth while she was trying to help me get him dressed. He fell and hit his eye on the bottom of the rolling chair. Poor baby. He is a trooper though not but a few minutes later he was up playing. The pictures are after we were able to get the ice pack and butter knife on it to take down a lot of the swelling. I thought my baby was going to have a black eye for his first birthday.

It's a late post I know, but I should update with a few of our pics so everyone can enjoy! We had so much fun just hanging we can't wait until Dylan is a little bigger and we can move past the teething and several naps a day.

2 year anniversary.

To celebrate our 2nd year of marriage Pete and I went to a Bed and Breakfast on Saturday. It was just down the road, but it felt like we were miles away. We took our chances and went to eat at Babins in Kemah.It was great! Normally when we go out to eat for our Anniversary (marriage or dating) we end up with either the worst waiter/waitress or surrounded by some pretty aweful people. Not this time though......the waitor was exceptional, the food was specatular and we sat in a really good location. Our waiter gave us free dessert for our anniversary and then the manager came to congratulate us and gave us a coupon for our next visit there. WOW! Anywho, the bed and breakfast was right on the bay and so our view was beautiful. She gave us fresh browines in the room and home cooked breakfast in the morning.

We are so proud of all the graduates this year they have really managed to go above and beyond. Although we were able to celebrate this special occasion with everyone they were still in our thoughts.
