Rain-rain go away....wait I want to play!

13 months old today!

I just thought I would update everyone with how much Dylan is doing these days.....
He is able to reach on on the counter now so is finding anything left there to pull down and play with.
He loves to dance anytime he hears music.
He learned how to clap in just about 5 minutes and now does it when you say yeah!
He puts his hand to his ear and says hello like he is talking on the phone.
He waves bye-bye and says bye.
He is into just about everything.
He knows how to turn the knobs on the oven now.(yep broiled Mommies cake when she wasn't looking).
He has not had a bottle in 3 days!
He now takes his milk in a sippy cup.
He sleeps in his big boy bed most of the night and sometimes crawls in and goes to sleep by himself for naps.
He has 1-2 naps a day.
He loves to walk around the house all day long.
He says (kinda) outside and reaches for the door or the window.
He is just grown up so much since he turned one and we thought the first year went by fast.

We had so much fun at my Grannys house for her birthday. We made roasted chicken, mashed potatoes and corn. Home cooked food it always a must at Grannys. Then afterwards all the women pitched in and helped Granny make some homemade coconut cream pies. It was a payback for a very appreciated thing that Trudy did for her. I have always had so many good memories cooking in the kitchen with my Granny and I hope that my kids will grow to feel the same. WE love you Granny and hope to come visit you again soon.

Date night!

The other night Pete and I got away for a spur of the moment date night while Dilly visited with Granny. We went to play putt-putt which I love since it is one of the few things I can actually somewhat play. I have asking Pete to go since Last year! We had a lot of laughs and I even got a whole in one!
